Mutt March 2017

Mutt March 2017

Yesterday Hubby, the girls, and I participated in the Michigan Humane Society’s 29th annual Mutt March. This yearly event helps benefit the many programs and services MHS has to offer for the rescue animals within my community. This was Hubby’s and my 5th year walking and the twins’ first year. Last year I was actually pregnant with them because I remember wearing maternity jeans 😋

This event is near and dear to my heart as I’m a huge advocate for rescue animals. My pit bull Diesel is actually a rescue (well, technically a foster failure). I’m all about being the voice for those who have no voice.

I set a goal to raise $384, or the average cost to save two animals’ lives at MHS. I came close to achieving my goal with a total of $311 raised. While the event may be over with, donations are still being accepted online for anyone who’s interested in contributing. Donations can be made on my personal Mutt March page.
