End of Month Reflection: May 2017

Today is a great day. I don’t know why, but I just woke up in a positive mood. Maybe it’s because I’m finally feeling healthy after being sick all last week. Maybe it’s because it’s the last day of the month and tomorrow gives me a chance for a fresh start. Whatever it may be, it’s a good day to have a good day. 😉

I’m definitely ready for tomorrow. The beginning of the month is always a great excuse to start over. Reflecting back on this month, it definitely wasn’t my best. I gained 2 lbs and 0.80% body fat, only made it to the gym half the amount of times I could’ve / should’ve gone, and then of course I ended up getting sick for a week straight. I’m 100% ready to get back on track and kick June’s ass.

Life always offers you a second chance. It’s called tomorrow.

We have the twins’ 6 month photos next month, which Hubby and I are going to be in a few, so I definitely need to get my ass in gear so I can look my best. Whenever I get photos done I’m most critical of my arms (bat wings anyone?), so I think I’ll focus on upper body workouts in June. It’s funny, I’m always more motivated to workout and eat right when I have an event to base my goals around.

I also want to give an update on my social media following. If you remember, I’ll be posting an exclusive before photo once I hit a few social media milestones. As I write this, I am currently 42 followers away from my Instagram goal and 13 followers away from my Twitter goal. My Facebook goal has been met (thank you!). If you haven’t had a chance to follow me yet, please do! I will be 6 months postpartum come June 26th; I think that’d be a perfect date to reveal my before photo, don’t you think?
