First off, happy Friday! I now live for Fridays, remember? Second off, happy one month blogiversary to Toning With Twins! Yes, one month ago I launched this blog and exposed myself to a whole new world. I’ve been having so much fun blogging and connecting with other moms on social media these past four weeks. If you haven’t had a chance to connect with me on social media yet, please do!
Speaking of social media, I’ve been toying with the idea of posting an exclusive before photo and thought it’d be fun to reveal it when I hit a few social media milestones. Truthfully the very idea of revealing my post C-section “mummy tummy” for the world to see scares me. I’m no where near where I’d like to be fitness wise, and with the way I’ve been eating lately (did someone say pizza?), I’m honestly quite embarrassed. No one besides my husband has seen my stretched out belly, loose skin and all. While I hear a lot of, “You look great for having twins!”, I feel like I’m lying to my audience. I created this blog to connect with, motivate, and inspire other moms, not to deceive anyone.
I’m thinking once I reach 100 Instagram followers (currently 44), 25 Facebook likes (currently 16), and 25 Twitter followers (currently 8), I’ll pull the trigger and post my behind-the-scenes before photo. Thoughts?
Other than that, I have a few product reviews in mind for upcoming posts, and I’d like to shoot a video with my favorite exercises. I’m still in search of a good video editing app or software. Any suggestions?
Last but not least, I hope every mommy has a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! Anyone have any special plans? As this is my first Mother’s Day, I’m taking the day to myself and just relaxing at home. Not even going to the gym!
